Sail Rock lies between Koh Phangan and Koh tao. Considered the premier dive site in the Gulf of Thailand, Sail Rock is a pinnacle which rises to 14m above and 47m below the surface. It’s famous for its natural underwater vertical swim through or chimney which divers can enter at 5 meters and exit at 18. It is also frequently visited by many larger pelagic fish like Whale Shark, and is filled with resident schooling Chevron Barracuda, Yellowback fusilier, Jack Fish, Tuna and Giant morays.

This popular site is Pirate Divers House Reef which has an abundance of hard and soft corals. The dive is relatively shallow with a maximum depth of 12 meters. The visibility ranges from 2m to 20m depending on the season, regardless of this, Haad Salad has very much to offer from nudibranchs to Turtles. There is a wide variety of reef fish and a heaven for macro photography. Haad Salad bay can be dived from the shore as well as from the boat.

Ang Thong Marine National Park is made up of over 40 limestone islands. Its name translates to “Golden Urn” in Thai. The two most popular dive spots are Koh Wao and Hin Yippon where you can see many Soft and black corals. You may spot banded sea snakes and turtles here. It is also one of the few places where, if you’re lucky, you may see whale sharks. This site is also very good for snorkeling.

The visibility ranges from 2m to 20m depending on the season, regardless of this, Mae Haad has very much to offer from nudibranchs to barracuda. There is a wide variety of reef fish and a heaven for macro photography. Mae Haad bay can be dived from the shore as well as from the boat. This dive site can be dived together with Koh Ma, as they are in the same bay. Koh Ma has been designated as a national marine reserve because of the abundance of marine life.
